Panel 04 - Abraham and Isaac climbing the mountain

Description:
Abraham, in a red cloak and red/yellow turban carries a torch and a knife. His son Isaac carries the wood intended for the sacrificial pyre - the two bundles of wood are deliberately shown in a cross-shape - something which recurs in several of the other antetype panels. The two are marching towards the place designated by God for the sacrifice (Genesis 22).
