Description:
To quote from the Golden Legend; "Blessed Laurence then sought out
Christians by day and by night, and ministered to all according to their
needs. He came to the house of a certain widow who had hidden many Christians
in her house. She had long suffered from pains in her head, and St Laurence,
by laying on his hands, freed her of that pain."
Note:
Tituli:
The titulus on the right reads "STA:QVI / RIACA". In
other versions of the Laurence legend (though not in the G.L.) the widow
is named as St Syriaca.
