Panel 05 - Simon Magus unsuccessfully tries to revive a dead man

Description:
According to the Golden Legend (G.L. vol.1, p.343), Simon Magus tried all his power to revive the dead man but all that happened was that the corpse's head moved slightly. The artist here seems to be suggesting that the conjurer may have cheated in achieving even that limited success.
