Panel 03 - John's first vision
Description:
This central image of the lower medalion is a condensation of various
key elements of John's first vision. Christ holds the book with seven
seals in His right hand and the seven stars described by St John in His
left. He stands amidst seven candlesticks representing the seven churches
of Asia Minor. The sword held in His mouth has the Alpha-Omega inscribed
on its blade.
