Description:
In an early version of the Sweeney Todd story, the inn-keeper and his
wife murder the three students (first two panels) and place their dismembered
bodies in a barrel of brine, intending to sell the meat as Bacon. St Nicholas
foils their plan by re-assembling the bodies and reviving the three victims,
who can be seen in their barrel in the right-hand panel.
