One of two scenes representing December (the reason for the duplication is unclear). A man in a yellow cap sits behind a table loaded
with food and drink. One can make out two loaves (the crosses cut in the top are just to allow them to rise and should not
automatically be read as sacramental symbolism!), a bowl containing a pig's head, another containing fish, plus a wine jug.
The man raises a wine-goblet in his left hand while his right hand holds a knife against the diapered table cloth. Behind him are
two doors, one open, one closed (perhaps symbolising the closing of one year and the opening of another?)
