A story from Pseudo-Abdias; after an honourable youth rejects his mother's lustful advances she accuses him of having ravished her. Unable to counter her calumny without accusing his mother of perjury, the child remains silent. Andrew, who has sensed the truth, intercedes on his behalf and the boy is aquitted.
