This scene should precede panel 17 but has clearly been displaced. Pseudo-Abdias tells how Andrew and his followers encountered a blind beggar at the city gates. The beggar, prompted by the devil, refused Andrew's offer to heal him, instead asking for copious amounts of alms. Andrew heals him anyway and tells his followers to give the man one fresh tunic only (as shown in panel 17).
