This scene of the incredulity of Thomas (where the apostle thrusts his
finger into Christ's side-wound) is not part of the original composition
but was added some time later in the 13th century, truncating panel 02
and displacing what were presumably two quadrant-shaped signature panels
in the lower corners. Reasons for the change are not clear.
