Description:
Gad's untimely death had delayed the execution of Thomas while the funeral
rites were observed. On the fourth day, Gad suddenly sits up in his coffin
and tells the startled court what happened while he was dead and of the
heavenly palace he saw (panel 14). The King immediately relents and begs
forgiveness of the Apostle.
