Panel 11-12 - The destruction of Sodom (Gen 19:24-26)
Description:
On the right the angels guide Lot and his daughters to safety. On the left, the city is destroyed and Lot's wife is
punished for looking back at their erstwhile home. The partial halo around her head is probably a restorer's error.
As per Genesis 19;
(24) Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of
heaven; (25) And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which
grew upon the ground. (26) But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
