Hungary's parliament sits in the Orszaghaz - a glorious building facing Old Buda across the Danube. Designed by Imre Steidl and built between 1885 and 1903. When completed, a year after Steidl's death the building housed 691 rooms and carried 41Kg of 24 carat gold.
