The famous statue of the Virgin, in front of the vast concrete and steel Maronite Cathedral at Harissa. The white-painted bronze statue can been seen from miles out in the bay provided it's a clear day. Sadly, thanks to the Lebanese love of cars, the pollution levels around Beirut are such that one rarely if ever gets a clear day.
