Lebanon - Notes

Very few pictures of Lebanon at the moment I'm afraid! These were taken on my first visit, around Easter 1999. At the time I was returning from a month in Syria and was running low on film.
There will be some pictures of my recent (October 2001) trip to the famous Roman temples at Baalbek appearing here shortly, once I get time to scan them.
At some time soon I'm hoping to go back again and photograph some of the amazing new buildings in Beirut Central District. The work that has been done to rebuild that wonderful city has been truly remarkable and the people of Beirut deserve a lot more attention than I've given them here.
Meanwhile, here are a few snapshots of the dramatic landscape around Bcharre and the Cedars, plus a couple of other things that caught my eye.
