The King sits on a gilded pedastal in the form of a lotus blossom and is sheltered by a protective cobra's hood. Sitting on top of the cobra's head is the figure of a bird. Local legend tells that until the bird flies away there is still a chance that the King will return - meanwhile they leave one door and one window of the palace open and keep a hookah ready, just in case he does decide to pop in.
